Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the fifth edition of our annual Juniper Group M&A Offsite in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Over the course of three days, from September 10th to 12th, nearly 100 professionals from Juniper Group companies and other Constellation Software Inc. (CSI) operating groups came together for a dynamic gathering full of learning, sharing, and collaboration.
The event began with a warm welcome, where attendees enjoyed a sunset cocktail reception with panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
Our CEO, Jaime Sastre, opened the summit with an overview of Juniper Group’s current position and future outlook, highlighting the key pillars of our model: a decentralised structure that preserves the independence of acquired companies, a focus on vertical market software businesses with strong profitability, and the collective advantage of best practices shared across more than 1,200 CSI companies. This message set the tone for an inspiring agenda focused on sustainable growth, knowledge-sharing, and long-term value creation.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in interactive sessions, insightful presentations, and panel discussions led by some of our most experienced leaders. Speakers included: Andrew Pastor, Member of the Board of Directors of CSI; Tyler O’Hagan, CFO at Vela Software; Dan Baum, CIO at Vela Software; Matt Cole, VP Tax at Vela Software; and Karl Schabas, Partner at Constellation VMS Ventures, who shared perspectives on our broader ecosystem’s evolution.
The agenda also featured valuable contributions from Juniper Group leaders as well as our M&A and BD teams, showcasing lessons learned from recent acquisition processes and highlighting our continued focus on excellence in deal execution, integration, and value creation.
Above all, the offsite offered a great opportunity to connect in person with peers from across the globe — strengthening relationships, fostering collaboration, and reminding us of the collective expertise and potential within the Juniper Group and CSI ecosystem.
We are grateful to all our speakers and attendees for making this edition a memorable one. We look forward to building on the insights shared and driving further success across the group.
